When I transitioned from working with undergraduate students to graduate students, I could not help but notice how frustrated students seemed due to missed deadlines and a general lack of information. While acknowledging that graduate students are adults who are held to a higher standard, it is my hearts desire to help connect student to the important information that is housed and hidden throughout handbooks and in policies and procedures across the institution.
My goal by providing my advisor’s tips and information for my students is to provide students with a resource that they can use as needed when situations arise that need additional context.
